Britney Hopgood is an aspiring Ph.D. student. She holds an MS in Chemistry. She is currently a chemistry professor at UAGM, a mentor with the Scientific Caribbean Foundation, and a program facilitator with the Puerto Rico Science Trust. She has worked with NCAR, PRPI, and NASA, among others on many different research projects. After finalizing her Ph.D. she plans on continuing to conduct research in the climate field and becoming a policymaker as well as continuing to educate those around her. She loves challenges and learning new things and hopes to pass this passion for learning onto her students.
